Meet Dynamic Pilates Instructor – Dinah

Over the next few months we will be featuring some of our awesome Dynamic Pilates certified instructors and ensuring you get to know them that little bit more..

First up. Meet Dinah.

Dinah is our very own California girl with an infectious smile and genuine enthusiasm for the perfect Pilates move.

Dinah discovered Reformer Pilates after moving to Australia to be with her partner and very quickly it became a passion.  The principles of Pilates, the concentration and coordination were reminiscent of her early days as a keen gymnast and horse rider. She loved Pilates so much she decided to become a Pilates Instructor!

As a teacher, Dinah says that she strives to motivate her clients to exceed their own expectations and she enjoys seeing the effects Pilates has on the body and the mind.

In 2017 Dinah decided to continue her Pilates instructor training journey by completing the BASI Pilates Global Comprehensive training course hosted at our Manly studio with Ed Botha. You’ll often see her observing lessons, practicing Pilates moves and sharing ideas via her Instagram account spanning the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel.

Some of you will know Dinah as our Dynamic Pilates 30 Day Challenge coordinator encouraging clients and providing useful tips and recipes on healthy eating. Dinah says she loves being a part of the transformative process for each client, supporting and holding our clients accountable throughout the challenge.

Dinah is also certified in Pre and Post-Natal Pilates, and has a particular fondness towards her Mums and Bubs classes. It’s not unusual to find her teaching a class with a baby on her hip!

Q. What’s your favourite post class hideout?   

Coffee at Sketch or lunch at Dolce Vita.  Or the beach on warm days!!

Q. Your favourite Pilates brand? 

Not too original on this one…..Lululemon!

Q. What’s the best thing that happened in class this week?   

One of our clients loves Pilates so much she came twice in one day!  

Q. What’s the best thing that a client told you this week? 

A client who is doing the 30 Day Challenge told me that she’s feeling so full of energy she wants to continue coming to Pilates 5 times per week and eating clean!!  I love it when clients see and FEEL the results!!

“If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done”
